Please be aware – not all colleges and universities honor Score Choice. ![]() Score Choice is optional, and if students choose not to use it, all scores will automatically be sent to the colleges the student applies to. This allows students to put their best foot forward on test day by giving them flexibility and control over their scores. Score Choice gives students the option to choose the SAT scores that they send to colleges. The Raw Score is then converted to an equivalent College Board score, which ranges from a low of 200 to a high of 800 points. After all the points are totaled, their paper is given a Raw Score. If they omit a question, it is not counted. For each wrong answer, they lose ¼ of a point so there is a penalty for guessing. This table only provides atomic masses, atomic numbers, and symbols for each element.įor each correct answer, students are given one point. The only resource a student may use is a periodic table which is provided with the test booklet. Student are not allowed to use a calculator on this test. The last 47 questions numbered 24-70 are standard multiple choice questions. If both statements are true, the student will then have to analyze the relationship between the two statements to see if the second statement correctly explains the first statement. Relationship Analysis Questions require the student to identify the truth value of two statements. The SAT Subject Test in Chemistry is currently the only SAT that incorporates the relationship analysis questions. The next 15 questions, numbered 101-115, are called ‘relationship analysis questions’. The first 23 questions numbered 1-23 are ‘classification questions’. Students have 60 minutes to complete the exam. The Chemistry SAT Subject Test exam consists of 85 five-choice multiple-choice questions.
